Jaxon Trae Hepworths first 9 days of life!!! Current mood: rejuvenated
Well it's been a while since I did I blog so I thought I would inform all of you what my week has been like...
As you all know I had Mr. Jaxon Trae Hepworth Saturday October 27th, 2007 at 10:37AM he weighed in at 7 lbs 11oz, his lengh was 21 1/4 in long!!! He has the most beautiful long dark brown hair ever... Beautiful olive skin all I have to say is thank you Josh for the olive skin you have given our boys!!! Any one that has seen him just can't get over his hair... LOL...
I had the easest birth in the world, ask any one that was there are saw the video (NO THE VIDEO DOES NOT SHOW ANY THING DOWN THERE)!!! The room was so quite my husband and Candi did not beleave I was going to have a baby soon... LoL I was talking normal and laughing up untill I had him, then when I looked down and saw him. WOW it hit me like a load of bricks. I started to cry, and I mean hard. ... So needless to say I loved that child from the begining...
Both Gage and Ashton are still not sure about him, they dont hate him. They are just not sure what he is doing here... They are slowly warming up to him though which is very nice.
Both Jaxon and I got released from the hospital Sunday around 4:30PM. I was so releaved to go home and spend time with my parents and Josh sister Candi. Josh's mother was there but she was pissing me off all ready, so I wasnt looking forward to dealing with her non stop... Quick up date on the mother in law situation that was all ready forming and she hasnt even been in Laramie but 5 hours!!! She was on her stupid dumn ass phone non stop!!! Seriously you just drove 7 or so hours to see your sons new born, you would think she would want to spend time with us. Nope she was on the phone the whole time with everyone else that she sees or talks to on a daily bases... ERRR Oh well thats how she is, so I am going to go back to talking about Jaxon...
We had a lovely visit with Grandma Jacki (my mom) and Papa (my dad) Aunt Candi has left all ready do to the fact she was about to rip her mothers head off!!! Some of the things we did is we whent swimming, well I should say my parents and Gage whent swimming. Ashton stayed home and whent to bed because he was sick, he had a bad cold and bacteria in his lungs... He is now on the mends from that... I whent with them to the pool but I just sat on the side line and watched and soked my feet... They were swelling because of my eperderal ( I have no idea how to spell it) LOL....
I was very sad to see that my parents had to leave the next day(which was Tuesday), they were awsome to have around, not just because I slaved them to death with honey dues... I just love haveing them here, or when I go to there house its nice to catch up with them... They are awsome parents I tell ya...
Well all I seem to do Weds was take it easy. I did clean up some of my house I just let Susan do most of it, LOL. Susan was suppose to leave today but we talked her in to staying untill the next day because Jaxon had his 5 day appointment on Thursday and Josh had to work. So I didnt want to try to take all three boys with me to the Dr. office...
Well Thursday came and I whent to Jaxons appointment at 2:00 PM they did a Jaundice test on him because he was turning way yellow even his eyes were yellow (pics in album). Well I had to get home, and wait for the results to come in, since Susan was all ready wanting to be on the road. Susan wasnt even on the road for 5 min when the Doctors office called and said that Jaxon had a Very high Jaundice level... They like them to be bellow a 12, because 12 and below is a safe level. Jaxon was a 23!!! Dr. Anderson told me I had to be up at the hospital with in an hour. So needless to say I was freaking out I was scared to have to admit my son into the hospital for at least over night. Well I called Susan and she was able to come back and be with Gage and Ashton while I rushed Jaxon up to the hospital to get him under the special lights they have for Jaundice babies...
Josh was at work in Cheyenne so as soon as he got into Laramie he rushed to the hospital... He ended up going home a few hours later. Well to start to make a long story shorter. Jaxon Bili level (Jaundice level) droped down to a 19.4 at 10:00 that evening, which is much better just not better... So I was up most of the night force feeding him and watching over him. That was a very long night for me, not so much for Jaxon. He was very happy and content laying under the lights (pics in album).
They came in the next mornig at Friday 6:00 AM and tested his Bili level again he was down to a 17.4 I at didnt know about this untill around 8:00 AM. Dr. Horest wasn't able come in and talk to me untill around 9:00 AM, he explained to me that he would be dicharging both Jaxon and I and we should be able to be leave for home around 10:00 AM. He just wanted to have him set up on home therapy lights untill he got below a 12. So I got home and the home nurse meet me there about 30 min later to show me how to set up his bed.
I ended up calling the home nurse the evening around 11:00 PM because his temperture was way high, they dont know if the bed was mount functioning or not so they switched it out for a new one. She whent a head and tested his Bili level again and it was a 15.8 I think...
Well the next morning which was Saturday, they came over and he tested at a 13.1 they still wanted him on the lights and made an appointment to come back over in the morning..
So Sunday around 12:30 PM they came over and he tested at a 15.4 which is horibal because that means it whent up. So they whent ahead and switched his bed back to the suit case looking thing and said they would come back the next day...
Well then it brings me to today he got weighed and his weight whent down to 7lbs 2 ozs... Which is to be exspected he was spitting up and throwing up the nights before (we think he had extra bubbles that we were unable to get out of him)... Then they did his Bili test I was so nervous I so prayed that my little angel would be better... Then the nurse said his Bili level was a 7.2!!! OMG!!! THAT IS SO FREAKING AWSOME HE DROPED MORE THAN HAFE OF WHAT IT WAS BEFORE!!! So needless to say they have taken him off of the lights and bed, I get to hold and love on Jaxon as much as I want to now, instead of watching him from under his bed lights... I am so over wellmed with happiness right now. My little guy is on the road to being a happy healthy little boy!!!
